After being advised to check up on Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo makes a “deep statement.”

Uche Jombo, a Nollywood actress, has reacted to rumours that her friend and colleague Genevieve Nnaji is suffering from mental illness.

Genevieve Nnaji made waves on social media a few days ago after an anonymous blogger claimed she was depressed, suffering from mental illness, and had been taken to a medical facility in Texas, USA.

Genevieve Nnaji came to her Instagram story hours after the viral news to share a video of herself painting a piece of art and grinning with joy.

Many Nigerians, however, criticized the video used to disprove the rumors, noting that self-painting is one of the methods in recovery.

A concerned fan, who appeared doubtful, responded by contacting Uche Jombo and requesting that she check on Genevieve and Uche Jombo responded by cautioning the fan not to accept everything they see on the internet.

The fan wrote: “@uchejombo pls check on her and know if she is okay. I know she is ur best friend”.

Uche Jombo wrote: “@adie_godwin20 how about you don’t believe everything you see on social media.” She replied”.
