In honor of Big Brother Naija reality star Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, also known as Rico Swavey, BBNaija’s stars flocked to the Service of Songs.

According to ENaija TV, the reality personality died on Thursday, October 13th, after suffering injuries in a horrifying car accident.

His co-star, Tobi Bakre, made the announcement of his passing.

Recall that his family had announced the details of his funeral.

The family gave the public an update on his burial rites via a tweet.

A candlelight vigil and night of tribute would be conducted in his honor on October 19.

On October 20, the late reality star would be laid to rest. 

Before his funeral, a religious ceremony would be performed in the Methodist Church in Tinubu Square.

In an update to it, the late reality star’s service of sings is currently ongoing.

Rico Swavey’s management speaks out on his death

The management of the reality star broke their silence on his death.

His management noted how a lot of narratives on the cause of his death have flied round the internet.

Doren hospital, where he was taken for treatment, claimed that the deceased was drunk as he smelt of alcohol when he was brought to the hospital.

Addressing the lingering rumours, his management debunked them, as they claimed that majority were false.

According to them, many influencers had been paid to promote certain narratives.

His management promised to share detailed information on the circumstances surrounding Rico’s accident, treatment and passing.

Rico’s management urged his fans to keep his family in prayers and to continue the spirit of warmth and fellowship.
