Big Brother Naija season 8 Housemate and former Level Up star Doyinsola David opens up about her relationship with colleague Chizzy.
Doyin revealed to Ilebaye, Alex, and Pere that her relationship with Chizzy couldn’t work out since they both saw life from different viewpoints.
She believes that Chizzy’s perspective on life differs greatly from her own. As a result, they find it difficult to adjust to their differences.
“We had different conflict resolution patterns, that wasn’t…. his pattern wasn’t gonna work for me,” Doyin says.
She continues, “If we fight omo when I want us to settle we have to settle, he wants to like take his time you know he doesn’t wanna speak out of anger, I’m like you know what, lets speak, lets cuss each other out but he doesn’t wanna do that, twas just so many things to walk through.”
Doyin further stresses as she disclosed that even though she and Chizzy aren’t intimately together at the moment, they are still friends.
“And also his orientation, the way he saw life was different from the way I saw life, everything was just different, we were just so very different, it couldn’t have worked but we are great friends till now.”
Recall that Doyin and Chizzy became a thing in the Big Brother House during last year’s Level Up show. Outside of the House, they continue to explore, until it began dawning on them to decide whether to continue or not.
