The late Mohbad and Ilerioluwa Aloba’s son, Liam, has received assistance thanks to N2 million donated by Sulaimon Solomon, better known by his stage as Khaid, a Nigerian rapper and musician.
Mohbad, who passed unexpectedly on Tuesday at the age of 27, had a record deal with Naira Marley’s Marlian Record but left the label in February 2022.
In a post on Tuesday, Khaid said, “It’s with great pain that I pen this, the past few days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for each and every one of us,” explaining it via his X handle. We lost a friend named “Imole” who possessed both an unique ability and a lovely personality.
“In my own little way, I’ll love to support the family by giving N2 Million to the wife of our late brother and covey 100 royalties of the newly released tribute song “Forever” to Liam Aloba Eyinimofeoluwa. Rest On IMOLE,” he posted
Meanwhile, the management of Mohbad, on Monday night, announced a candlelight procession and tribute night for the late artiste.
