Popular Celebrity Critic, Daniel Regha, has taken to his Twitter page to share his views on the Grammy nominations for artists like Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, Olamide, and South African singer Tyla.
The Recording Academy, responsible for the Grammys, recently announced the nominees for the 2024 edition, including first-time nominees Ayra Starr, Asake, Olamide, and Davido.
In response to these nominations, Daniel Regha, known for critiquing celebrities, expressed his opinion that the nominees aren’t deserving. He criticized Davido’s album, “Timeless,” stating it lacks substance, making it unworthy of a Grammy nomination.
Regha also commented that Ayra Starr lacks talent, and he found the song “Water” by South African singer Tyla to be merely a sexual song with no meaningful content.
Furthermore, Regha mentioned that Burna Boy is the only artist deserving of his nomination, particularly for his song “Alone,” but he believes Burna’s album “I Told Them” falls below par.

“Davido bagging 2024 Grammy nomintons is an absolute j¤ke; Timeless !sn’t a dope album to begin with. Both the “Best African Music Performance” & “Best Global Music Album” list are pathet!c. Burna on the other hand merited his nominated for Best Global Music Performance cos “Alone” was a great song, but the “I Told Them” album d¤esn’t deserve any noms. “Water” by Tyla is an ¤verhyped sexua! song, so why the nomination? Same goes for Ayra Starr’s “Rush” that conveys n¤ meaningful msg, just rhymes. This is why artistes nowadays are more focused on PR & topping charts, instead of putting out sensible/relative music. Once again, the Grammys have nominated people based on favorit!sm. “
