Popular Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Tolanibaj has faced criticism after sharing her views on why she believes married men are preferable to single ones.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Bahd and Boujie, she expressed her opinion that married men in Lagos are more appealing than their single counterparts.
According to Tolanibaj, women tend to view married men as responsible individuals, attributing this perception to the commitment that comes with marriage.
She argued that when a man gets married, it signals a higher level of responsibility.
Additionally, she suggested that, contrary to common belief, it’s the woman who is “off the market” when a couple ties the knot, not the man.
In her words, “When a man and a woman come together and form a union, it is the woman that is truly off the market.
The man is still very much in the market. Even as a married man, Lagos babes find you more attractive because it shows responsibility, financial stability, and the idea of treating a woman well.
Married men in Lagos are like a hot commodity, even hotter than single men. Single men cannot provide as much as married men can.”
Tolanibaj clarified that she’s not advocating for dating married men but rather sharing her perspective based on personal experiences.
However, her statement received backlash from netizens, who took to the comments section to express their disapproval.
