Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Angel Smith, has spoken out on social media about how participating in the show can impact the mental well-being of housemates.
In a tweet on her page, Angel highlighted the challenges faced by contestants and how fans contribute to conflicts among them.
Drawing from her experience in the recent Big Brother Naija All Stars season, Angel emphasized the importance of mental strength and a strong support system for contestants to navigate life after the show successfully.
She pointed out that many contestants entered the show with hopes of positive life changes but were unaware of the potential negative effects.
Angel concluded with a plea for privacy, asking the public to respect her personal space and expressing that she doesn’t seek validation from others.

“You have to be mentally strong to go to that big brother show. It could really fuck you up mentally especially if you don’t have a good support system. I hope the housemates r doing okay”
“Anyways goodnight, it’s almost 5am and I’m glad we had this conversation. I hope we can all be kinder to ourselves. I don’t think I’m the same person I was in 2021 or even yesterday, I hope we as a community get better🫶🏾💕”
“If I have you blocked and you use another account to read my tweet so you can drop think pieces then you obviously want to kiss me and bear my kids.”
