Recently, 24-year-old Akwa Ibom State PR expert, model, and host Christopher Joseph Bassey—better known by his stage as Topher — shared his thoughts on how previous Big Brother Naija housemates are treated.
Topher, who was born on March 18, 2000, stressed the value of compassion and support for these reality TV stars in an interview with Pulse NG.
“Give the housemates grace,” Topher said. “They need all the love they can get; spread love.” His message came in response to a question asked about what he would like to say about how ex-BBNaija contestants are being treated on social media.
Fans agreed with Topher that housemates endure a great deal of pressure even after the show ended, and his remark prompted a flood of support in the comments section.
As past competitors acclimate to life outside of the BBNaija spotlight, several praised Topher for emphasizing the need of compassion.
