#BBNaija: How Spiritual problem almost ruined WhiteMoney musical career and made sleep under the bridge.

We got the pleasure to meet some musically minded Housemates on last year’s version of BBNaija; three of whom have gone the additional mile to record and are still very interested in becoming music stars. Jaypaul, Michael, and Whitemoney are in no particular order.

Whitemoney, who was the last of the three remaining in the House and went on to win the program, has previously spoken about his music career and love for music. He’s also a sucker for Tasks with jingles because he believes that’s where his strength rests. Knowing how competitive the music industry is, it’s easy to see why the BBNaija platform is so vital for his dreams and career.

Have you ever pondered what steps he took before BBNaija to make his ambitions come true? While he was in the house, that is. He took us along that road and told us about it, and we must confess it wasn’t very pretty.

He ended up singing one of his tunes during an improv jam session in the kitchen, which Cross and Pere praised. The two that were with him in the kitchen were nothing but supportive, even suggesting a producer for him to work with. During the debate, Whitemoney sang another song, which he claimed was destined to be a smash but was ruined by something “spiritual.”

He added that after recording the song, he asked the wrong person to listen to it before publishing it, while elaborating on the spiritual topic. By saying this, he implied that the individual worked in some way to ensure that the song went down the toilet and did not receive the attention it deserved.

He was reportedly depressed and had low self-esteem as a result of this. This incident prompted him to travel to Lagos. His choice to move to Lagos appears to have been influenced by another song in which he predicted that he would become a star as soon as he arrived in Lagos. Unfortunately for him, he had to spend some time sleeping beneath the bridge before finding a place to stay.

All of this only added to his resolve to succeed in life. He claims to have written songs that he will perform alongside Nigerian music sensations Tiwa Savage and Flavour. He claims he will do everything in his power to succeed in the Nigerian music industry.

All we have to say to him right now is congrats because his dreams have come true. Shortly after the concert, Whitemoney released the award-winning tune “SELENSE.” He was also seen preparing something in the studio. We can’t wait to play.
