“My mental health made me sad” BBNaija’s Erica Nlewedim opens up on her last days in BBN (Video)

Erica Nlewedim, a Big Brother Naija “Lockdown” contestant, has spoken openly about the challenging moments she had within the BBN house.

The reality star, who was eliminated from the reality show after a fight with housemate Laycon, admitted that her final days there were heartbreaking.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Erica Nlewedim discussed her mental health and life after BBNaija. She also made this statement.

Erica admitted that she was quite depressed and had stopped smiling as a result of her mental health.

To make matters worst, the reality star was eliminated, and when she left the house, she was overwhelmed by the support she had received.

Erica acknowledged that it was a lot for her to handle, especially in light of the fact that her life had changed.

She required the time off to readjust so she wouldn’t be overcome by the outpouring of love.

“Well, because of my mental health, when I was in the House, towards the end of my stay I was getting really sad like I wasn’t smiling anymore, I was not happy. Then coming out in that shocking way, coming to face the world and hearing all the things people had to say about me and seeing all the love knowing that oh I have a new…it was just a lot of things to take in at the same time. Plus knowing that my life has changed. I’m just trying to adjust so many things, so I needed that time, I didn’t want to just be overwhelmed and must breakdown or something, that was the best thing”.
