Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the presenter of the Big Brother Naija show, has provided a thorough explanation of the roles played by the two new Housemates in the Big Brother’s House.
Remember how Big Brother introduced two new Housemates, Rachel and Chizzy, and referred to them as Riders in the House during the Sunday live eviction show on August 7? That was the third week of the competition.
The audience were then given an explanation of what the Rider refers to as they entered Biggie’s house by Ebuka.
He further claims that they are essentially Big Brother’s operatives who will remain in the House until the show’s final day but are ineligible to win the reward.
The Riders can be nominated for eviction by the Housemates and are eligible to participate in all events in the House, according to Ebuka, however can never be evicted.
This similarly means that they’re in the Biggie’s House as fake Housemates, just as Deji and Modella are currently in the Level Up show as fake Housemates.
Ebuka said, “Now listen up. Earlier, I spoke about the word, Rider. So, Big Brother has a two new Housemates who are going to go into the House, as Riders for the season.
“So, what does that mean? Rider is basically someone who’s Big Brother’s agent in the House.
“They cannot win the prize. However, they’re eligible to partake in all activities in the House. They may even be nominated, but they cannot be evicted.
