“VDM Destroyed My Sister’s Case With Lies” — Emotional Phyna Explodes Over ₦1 Billion Dangote Claim & Shocking Allegations

Reality TV star Phyna has reignited her explosive fallout with controversial social commentator VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM, in an emotional outburst that has now taken over social media timelines.

The BBNaija star accused VDM of allegedly destroying the public sympathy surrounding her late sister’s case while spreading claims that she demanded ₦1 billion from billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.

According to Phyna, the viral narrative pushed online completely damaged the focus of the case, which originally centered around seeking justice and medical support for her sister after a tragic accident involving a Dangote truck.

In a heated emotional reaction circulating online, Phyna allegedly cursed out VDM while accusing him of betrayal and manipulation.

She reportedly said:

“VDM ruined my sister’s case with lies. People stopped focusing on justice and started dragging me over money.”

The reality star also strongly denied allegations that she demanded ₦1 billion compensation from Dangote, insisting the reports were false and misleading. Earlier reports claimed VDM accused her of making outrageous financial demands, including scholarships and lifetime support requests.

However, Phyna’s associate, Mike Premium, previously defended her publicly and stated that there was never any ₦1 billion demand. According to him, the family’s main request was urgent medical treatment abroad for her late sister.

The controversy became even messier after old allegations resurfaced online claiming VDM allegedly made inappropriate advances toward Phyna — claims that have continued fueling heated debates across X and Instagram. As of now, VDM has not publicly responded to the latest accusations.

Social media has since exploded with divided reactions:

  • Some users believe Phyna is finally speaking her truth after staying silent for too long.
  • Others insist both sides handled the sensitive situation poorly online.

The situation has once again raised questions about the dangers of social media trials, especially when personal tragedy becomes public entertainment.

Meanwhile, fans continue debating who is truly telling the truth in one of the messiest celebrity controversies currently dominating Nigerian social media.
