The waters are muddied by conflicting Diary Sessions in BBMzansi

All of the Housemates discussed the prevailing atmosphere in the House during today’s Diary Sessions. The issue is that they disagree about what those vibes are. It’s only been a few hours since we published an article documenting how some tensions are beginning to evolve into actual rifts — housemates are showing open enmity against one another, gossip is rampant, and snarky remarks are the norm.

Some Housemates, on the other hand, appear to be of a completely different mind. Sis Tamara put it like way: “This week was definitely calmer.” Zino, who is always upbeat, agreed. “The atmosphere in the house has altered,” he asserted. “It’s getting better now. “The energy continues to rise.”

“People are getting along,” Themba even said that. There will always be ups and downs, but things are much better now.” Obviously, all of this happy-go-lucky vibes had us worried. After all, we’d just written about how they didn’t get along. Fortunately for our egos, Mvelo stepped in to save the day: “There’s no longer the notion of ‘let’s all clasp hands, sing one song, and be joyful together.'” “One thing I noticed is that most of the Housemates are just over each other.”

“The Housemates who are putting forth an effort are bothered,” Venus grumbled, referring to the House’s failure to complete yet another Wager Task despite some members’ best efforts. “I’m taking the blame for everyone,” Acacia grumbled, implying that she perceives herself as a victim, especially in terms of cleaning. Nthabii also brought up the same point. “I’m not sure how people can operate in such a filthy environment,” she remarked. “It’s exhausting for the person who can’t live in a pigsty.”

But there’s the Saturday night party to look forward to between now and then. We’ll have to wait and see which of these competing tales emerges victorious in the end.
