Mercy Eke, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 4, is said to have gotten into an ugly battle with singer MC Galaxy over money. Mercy Eke allegedly traveled all the way to Eket, Akwa Ibom, to attend a political gathering where she thought she might make money, according to controversial blogger Cutie Julls.
MC Galaxy had persuaded the reality star and another co-reality celebrity, Princess, to join him in Akwa Ibom to back Akpabio in his presidential bid. He told them that Akpabio is willing to pay a lot of money for celebrities to come out and endorse him. MC Galaxy was dragged by Mercy Eke after Akpabio disregarded them.
When Galaxy had the opportunity to meet with the governor, he was unhappy when he only gave them a million naira to split. Mercy was enraged, believing she was worth more than that and that she had squandered her time.
