Ebuka during the Live Eviction shows is the one person that many people look forward to seeing when BBNaija premieres. His funny and lighthearted approach to his responsibilities has made him a character to watch whenever a new season of Big Brother Naija begins. Is it true that just because we enjoy watching Ebuka on Sundays, that everyone else does as well? There’s no way!

Who are these individuals, you ask? Who wouldn’t like Ebuka, who is both lovely and funny?

Let’s see if we can figure out who these witty individuals are. Ebuka gets to converse with the Housemates about what they’ve been up to all week, in addition to letting us know who may or may not leave the House (after some brutally uncomfortable moments). Looking at this, it’s simple to assume that the Housemates are the ones that don’t want to see Ebuka on Sundays because it’s either going home or getting the most painful non-physical punches ever. In other words, the gbas gbos wey go land for your face ehn, with gbas gbos referring to his well-known table-shaking abilities.

Comment on Ebukas’ “Peace”: Michael was welcomed into the House two weeks into the “Shine Ya Eye” Season and quickly captured Jackie B’s interest. The night he entered the House, the two hit it off. We all know there was some back and forth with that ship before Peace was achieved.

No, it’s not “peace.” Peace, a Housemate who hung out with Michael like a “bestie” while he and Jackie were fighting. Jackie was so taken aback by Ebuka’s punch that she had no idea what had transpired. Only Michael was affected by the burn, and it was a lot of fun to watch.

Boma’s roommate issues: When Maria won the HoH title, she chose Boma as her DHoH, but because she couldn’t stay in the room with him due to a sentence she was serving, he had to choose another Housemate to be his partner. In the HoH Room, he chose Queen as his partner, but following a series of questioning during the Live broadcast, he stated that he would have preferred Angel to be his partner in the HoH room rather than Queen.

Queen was visibly upset by Boma’s comments, and it seemed like a wrench had been thrown into her stomach. For the ship that may have sailed between Boma and Queen, that moment marked the beginning of the end.

Palava of the “acting boyfriend”: Here’s a little backstory. Queen and Cross had been growing close and had even kissed at the Friday Pool Party. This incredibly sensual kiss took place in front of Whitemoney, a close friend of hers, and it was undoubtedly the “talk of the town.” Ebuka addressed Cross about his thoughts for Queen during the Live Show that followed the celebration. Queen was asked to clarify on her situationship with WhiteMoney. Ladies and gentlemen, na there okada jam police o!

She described Whitemoney as a good friend and a “acting boyfriend” while revealing who he was to her. We all were astonished and laughing at the same time. What happened to simply referring to him as a platonic friend? In any case, the incident served as a wake-up call for all parties concerned.
We can’t wait to see the housemates on our TVs once more. What was your favorite Ebuka moment from the previous season?
