BBN Ike continues to pepper ex, Mercy Eke as he hangs out with Nengi and Tacha at #AMVCA8

Ike Onyema, a Big Brother Naija ‘pepper dem’ contestant, sparked conflicting reactions online after he was seen hanging out with Mercy Eke’s arch-enemies.

The couple met on the 2019 reality show and fell in love, becoming one of the hottest reality couples until they called it quits in 2020. The ex-couple has never stopped shading each other after their breakup.

The blogger was observed hanging out with Mercy Eke’s rivals, Nengi Hampson and Tacha Akide, during the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards ceremony. Mercy Eke’s fans know that the reality star despises Tacha and Nengi, and since her breakup, Ike Onyema has been observed getting closer to her two rivals.

Mercy Eke, on the other hand, was conspicuously absent from the beautiful occasion.

Ike Onyema, according to ENaija TV, cleared the air regarding a shady post that many felt was directed towards his ex, Mercy Eke. Ike Onyema proclaimed his appreciation for girls with natural backsides in a video that went viral, and netizens thought it was a dig at Mercy Eke, who had butt surgery.

Ike Onyema said in another shade post aimed at her that he attempted but failed to turn a ‘hoe’ into a housewife. Many felt he was going after his Mercy Eke, and the reality star was hounded cruelly. Following the uproar, the blogger used his Instagram story to clarify his statement.

He mentioned how he had always been silent when it came to assumptions and speculations, but he was going to confront this. Ike Onyema told the public that he still admires and cares about Mercy Eke, which is why he is unable to shade her.

He also reminded the public that the BBN winner was grieving the death of her father, another reason he couldn’t target her. Mercy Eke is still a part of his path, therefore he explained that his TikTok video was not a shady post. He also expressed his hope that his future writings would not be perceived as a dig at his ex.
