Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor, also known by her stage as Chichi, has opened up to fellow housemate Deji about her traumatic childhood experience.
In a recent conversation with Deji, the exotic dancer and chef confessed that her mother abandoned her when she was a toddler and that her father was poisoned to death.
Chichi claims that because her mother abandoned her when she was a very young child and she was raised only by her father until he tragically passed away, she never knew what it was like to have a mother.
Chichi said she doesn’t like to talk about that era of her life since it makes her get upset after sharing the unpleasant experience with Deji.
But after the revelation, Chichi’s handler penned an emotional, lengthy note on Instagram with further information about her life.
A story she always struggles to share cause it opens up old wounds that never fully heals. She doesn’t talk about this part of her life, but this girl right before you is an orphan and an only child, she never got the chance to know what it feels to have a mom. She was abandoned by her mom and she grew up with her dad, only to lose him at a tender age.
“She had to fend for herself, to fight. She wanted more from life, and she knew she had to work for it all by herself. People wonder where her competitive side came from, people wonder why she’s been so defensive, she has never had anyone to do that for her. Now having you all by her side, rooting for her, defending her, and loving her is the biggest blessing in her life
