In a recent interview, reality TV personality Uriel Ngozi Oputa laments that despite competing in the 2017 and 2023 seasons of Big Brother Naija, she has never received any gifts from her fans.
Uriel compared herself to her prior housemates, even the last year’s set, which she claims no one watched, and how their fans showered them with cars, houses, and even cheques, but she has never experienced any of these benefits.
Uriel discovered that instead, she receives requests for financial support via direct messages. She makes the assumption that since people are aware that she was raised in the UK, she is not entitled to such favors from fans, who would presume she is already wealthy.
