Faith HOH reign gets off in chaos, as housemates push to undermine his authority

The week is off to a chaotic start, and it’s all thanks to Faith, who not only won the Head of House challenge but also bagged the Most Influential Player of last week, earning him a double dose of immunity. But his reign has barely begun, and the house is already feeling the pressure.

The first order of business? Punishments. With several housemates having broken the rules, Biggie dished out punishments to them. Rooboy, Isabella, Sultana, Bright Morgan, Mensan, Kola, and Doris were all seen writing out their punishments. This new week is clearly about retribution, and with Faith as HoH, some of the housemates are not happy about it.

The drama was bubbling just beneath the surface early on. Sultana vented to Isabella and Doris that she was upset Faith won, and she was even more annoyed that Dede wasn’t happy for him. She even went as far as calling Dede a “sand paper nyash.” The gossip didn’t stop there. Sultana also called Thelma Lawson an “ashawo,” and while she defended Kaybobo against Isabella’s insults, it was clear that the housemates were already picking sides.

Faith himself was not having an easy time. He confided in Zita on the swing, saying he wished it were an easier week. He complained about having to “beg people to change batteries” and that he had to tell people to do the “bare minimum.” His leadership was tested early on when he woke Imisi up and told her to wash her plate, and she put him off, saying she’d do it later. Imisi was adamant she had left her plate in the fridge, but someone (Kuture) had put it in the sink.

While some housemates were digging in their heels, others were trying to be his allies. Joanna and Faith were seen together in the HoH room, eating pizza and having a good time.

But even with her support, it’s clear Faith has a lot to contend with. Imisi was heard telling Mide that she doesn’t like Faith, this following a spat the two had that has left their friendship fractured.

It seems Faith will have to fight to keep his reign peaceful, especially since he seems committed to laying down the law.

As Faith’s reign continues, the housemates are turning to each other for support.

Thelma Lawson was seen telling Rooboy that she only cares about her son and that she doesn’t want to hold a grudge against him.

Joanna also advised Rooboy to “wrap it up” with Thelma Lawson and focus on himself.

It seems the housemates are all learning to put up emotional boundaries to survive the chaos of the game.
