Dee One completes Guinness World Record attempt for longest stand-up comedy marathon

The Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon has been achieved by Nigerian comedian Dee One.

As you may remember, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, DeeOne kicked off his stand-up comedy marathon at Pallazzo Lagos in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

The event, which begun on October 2, 2025, finally came to a close on October 4, 2025.

Notably, American stand-up comedian Benny Elbows held the record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon, which lasted 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds.

But as of yet, there has been no formal proof that DeeOne holds the new record.

Notably, Hilda Baci’s jollof cook-off was followed by the conclusion of DeeOne’s longest stand-up comedy marathon.
