Opeyemi Ayanwale, also known as Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has disclosed plans to start a non-governmental organization that will support girls.
Speaking soon after receiving a second N2 million check from BetKing in Lagos, Imisi said the gesture was both encouraging and overwhelming.
She earned the prize in a betting company-sponsored tournament when she was at the BBNaija home.
Imisi talked candidly about her childhood hardships, which she characterized as dramatic and difficult, while expressing gratitude for her BBNaija experience and the most recent cash win.
She further said her journey had long inspired a desire to support young girls facing similar difficulties.
Imisi said, “I am overwhelmed; I am happy and grateful; I feel good, excited and delighted. I just feel good seeing all these working in my favour.
“As a lady, I know what it was growing up. So, for me, I would like to do something for a girl child. I am not clear yet, but something like a foundation for the girl child, because that has always been my desire, and I think I really want to do that.
“Things are still looking like a dream to me now, but I really want to do that. While growing up as a girl child, it was a very dramatic time for me.”
