Seyi Awolowo, a Big Brother Naija season 8 Housemate and former Pepper Dem reality television personality, has stated that he will never apologize to his co-housemate Pere Egbi or his fellow Housemates for his braggadocio behavior after addressing the House this morning.
Seyi had called Housemates after their morning workout on Day 18 of the show to discuss the problems with several Housemates who had declined positions assigned to them for their Wager Task.
Seyi informed the House that anyone who does not want the function assigned to him or her can approach him to discuss it rather than cause turmoil.
Following Seyi’s address, Pere craved to respond to his statement, and Seyi walked out on the Housemates without listening to what Pere had to say.
Housemates frowned at Seyi’s action, as Pere and Cee C became enraged and began reacting furiously. “That stupidity that Seyi just displayed here is disgusting,” Pere comments following Seyi’s attitudinal execution. “Seyi spoke, and we all sat here to listen to him,” Cee C says. “Does he find it difficult to listen to Pere?”
Then, Pere vowed never to participate in the Wager Task preparation again since he requires a heartfelt apology from Seyi before he can work with him on the Wager.
Ike stepped in to mediate between Pere and Seyi, but Pere told HoH Ike that he wouldn’t have anything to do with Seyi until he tenders an apology to the Housemates. At that point, Ike promised to approach Seyi to tender an apology.
On approaching Seyi, Ike beckoned on him to apologize to the House, adding that Pere isn’t going to work with him until he apologizes.
Seyi responds to Ike, “I’m not going to be working with Pere. He’s not going to be the one directing people on what to do. Pere’s behavior has spilled off on Cee C. She doesn’t want to listen.
“Did you see the way Alex manipulated the whole house to believe it was CeeC doing the something wrong?” Ike replies, “No”.
Seyi continues, “And she suddenly just throws up Alex’s name in my face, why?” Ike retorts, “They’re obsessed with themselves”. Seyi adds, “I think it’s CeeC that’s even more obsessed at this point”.
Seyi persists, “Pere doesn’t know sh!t about directing. He’s only trying to follow in Cee C’s lead. I watched him yesterday during the practice”.
