Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy, has expressed his desire to pay Nigerian bloggers to forget about him completely.
The singer made this known on his official X account, formerly known as Twitter on the afternoon of November 3rd, 2023.
In his message, he named notable Nigerian bloggers such as Instablog and Pulse.ng and urged them to collaborate and specify their price for him to compensate them in exchange for forgetting about him.
He wrote “How far. all these instablog, PulseNg e.t.c abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!! “
Burna Boy, often referred to as the African giant, further expressed his belief that Nigerian bloggers frequently talk about him because he hasn’t included them on his payroll and he is determined to ensure that they erase any memory of him in their reporting.
However, his statement has generated a range of reactions from Netizens. Many took to the comments section to remind him that he wouldn’t have reached his current level of success without the promotion from Nigerian bloggers.
