Former Big Brother Naija all-stars housemate, Adekunle Olopade, known as Bad Boy Deks, has shared his reasons for not frequently socializing like other celebrities.
He offered this insight on his Snapchat status in response to a concerned fan’s inquiry about his reclusive tendencies.
While many of his fellow housemates are often seen enjoying weekends at top nightclubs in Lagos with family and friends, Adekunle prefers the comfort of staying indoors.
The fan expressed concern, saying, “I don’t know why I’m feeling anxious about you. Hope you’re doing well. Don’t always stay by yourself, go out a bit.”
This concern arose shortly after an ardent Adenita shipper voiced their frustration, cursing Adekunle for not accepting expensive gifts they had sent him and accusing him of breaking Venita’s heart.
Prior to this incident, Adekunle had mentioned in an interview that he wasn’t in a rush to date Venita and wouldn’t accept gifts from shippers.
In response to the fan’s question, Adekunle delivered a humorous reply that left his fans amused on social media.
He humorously stated that he prefers staying indoors because he doesn’t want to face romantic advances.
He said, “Please don’t feel anxious. I’m doing okay and I’m absolutely fantastic. But still, thank you for caring. If I go out, they’ll try to get close to me, and that’s why I’m always hiding indoors.”
According to Big brother Naija fans on social media, Adekunle lighthearted response added a touch of humor to the situation and showed that he can handle fan interactions with grace and wit. His reason for staying indoors was more about protecting his personal space than avoiding socializing.
