Mercy Eke, a reality celebrity, has aroused outrage by criticizing Guinness World Records for their response to Hilda Baci.
In less than a year, the well-known Nigerian chef who rose to prominence in May for her successful attempt at the Guinness World Record’s cook-a-thon has already been dethroned.
After she was deposed, Guinness World Records took to Twitter to ask Hilda Baci if she would ever try to break the record again.
Mercy Eke responds on her behalf, adding the chef has no plans to attempt again.
“Will we see you reattempt one day?” wrote Guinness World Records.
Mercy Eke responded, “No!!!” “She’s done and dusted.”
Many netizens were offended by Mercy’s remark, pointing out that she had tried to win Big Brother Naija once more by competing in the ‘All Stars’ show.
