Amaka, Phyna’s BFF, requested her to help lay the framework for her date with Groovy.
Phyna initially attempted to do this for Amaka, but she ended up in his bed, taking the place of his Amaka.
The romance endured until the show finished. As the victor of the competition, it appeared that Phyna had plenty to celebrate. She exited the show with a man in her arms and plenty of money in the bank.

Months later, Groovy was seen with BBNaija All Stars housemate Uriel. Rumours spread that the two were dating. Uriel exacerbated these rumors by moving to Instagram to stop people from criticizing her for the age difference. She claimed to be happy.
She shared a video with Groovy a few days after her reaction. They stated that this was really a publicity hoax to promote a liquor brand for which they were both influencers.
