No one can deny that last season was jam-packed with not only table-shaking thrills courtesy of our Dearest Host Ebuka, but also Biggie’s unique twists.

We knew this would be a thrill to remember from the first day the program aired, and Big Brother continued to drop our jaws with one twist after another.

Let’s take a look back at the moments that had us glued to our televisions at home.

The Launch of Double Unveiling.

To begin, the Season began with a Double Launch, which included surprises for the Housemates because it took place across two nights, with the boys entering the House first and the ladies following the next day. They were given their first puzzle of the season upon entering, which was the difficult task of identifying the two Wildcards among them.

The Wildcards Twists:

The Housemates were given the responsibility of determining who the Wildcards were, and if they guessed correctly, they would be evicted. If they were unable to find the correct Wildcards among them, the Wildcards would continue in the game and compete for the big prize. These Wildcards would be given sole power to nominate if they weren’t evicted on Sunday! Maria and Pere, as we all know, were the Wildcards, and they were given the chance to play the game since none of their fellow Housemates could figure them out.

Eviction in King-Size

One or two Evictions every Sunday have become the standard, but anything more than that is cause for concern as a Housemate – and as viewers who continuously cheer for their favorites. Geng, no one saw that King-sized Eviction coming! We were all taken aback, but what else is there to say? Biggie’s House is the place to be! It was difficult to say farewell to four Housemates at once.

Veto Power: The Ultimate Game

Biggie felt strongly this time that everyone, even the Head of House and Deputy, deserved a taste of authority. The power to switch Housemates who were up for Nomination with those who had been Saved was given to the first runner-up. Biggie added an even bigger twist when he launched the Ultimate Veto Power Games, in which the winner would choose the Head of House and Deputy Head of House for the week.

    Secret Tasks

Maria’s Head of House Power: This is the Head of House Power with a twist. Biggie’s task for her was to persuade the fellow Housemates that their fate was in her control. She had to persuade them that she had complete authority to evict them the next Sunday.

Saga and Liquorose’s secret Task:  The hidden task for Saga and Liquorose was to provoke a dispute with their significant other in the House and not talk to them until the following Diary Session. They will be rewarded with 200 Abeg Naira and 100 BB Tokens if they perform successfully. Liquorose was successful in this task, but Saga failed miserably since his feelings for Nini seemed to exceed the need to keep his ruse going.

Nini’s Secret Task: Big Brother assigned Nini the task of disappearing from the House for 24 hours, beginning around midnight. Nini was led to a hidden door in the Games Room, where she had to wait until the House was asleep. Nini was then escorted to a room where she was supposed to spend the next 24 hours and then return as if she had never left. She could watch what was going on in the House on a TV monitor while in the White Room. Unfortunately, this didn’t stop her from informing each Housemate of their whereabouts when she returned, but we agree with Biggie that “she doesn’t always have to explain herself.”

    Fake Evictions and double jeopardy…

Africa and the #BBNaija Housemates were duped into believing that this would be the biggest Eviction yet after bidding farewell to Queen, Nini, and Saga, but there was more to those details. The day this twist played out, the internet nearly broke, with all Patriots and Archangels glad that their favorites had escaped Eviction, but stressed out by the White Room toy vehicle task. The two Housemates spent the day waiting for their toy dismantling game, which annoyed them but earned them a ticket in the Finale.

    Top Six Finalist

The Fake Eviction phenomena ushered in a Finale week unlike any other, with six Housemates making their debut appearance on the television instead of the normal five. Pere, Angel, Whitemoney, Emmanuel, Liquorose, and Cross were seen walking to the show’s last day.
