Tony Awards: Full list of Tony 2023 award-winners.

The Tony Awards , Broadway’s biggest night, were announced on June 11 following a joyful event. The 76th Tony Awards were held at the United Palace in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood.

The evening was hosted by Ariana Debose, with significantly fewer individuals in attendance due to the ongoing WGA strike that has shaken Hollywood for months.

In her opening statement at the awards presentation, the host also mentioned the writers’ strike, expressing her sympathy for her “siblings” at the Writers Guild of America.

She joked that because of the strikes, neither she nor anyone else would be reading from a screenplay because they were all written by WGA members.

Alex Newell and J Harrison Ghee made history by being the first openly non-binary actors to win Tony Awards in 2023. Jodie Comer took home the award for Best Leading Actress in a Play for Prima Facie.
