Big Brother Naija ex-housemate Hermes Iyele, claims that Josephine Otabor, popularly referred to as Phyna and the Season 7 winner, made a false accusation about Chichi abandoning her husband and children.
It should be mentioned that Phyna claimed during the reunion event that Chichi had abandoned her spouse and children in Benin, resulting in the death of one of the children.
Hermes apologized in a video for laughing during the heated argument between Phyna and Chichi.
According to the famous dancer, Chichi once confided in him about the alleged photo of her and her children, which was not genuine.
Hermes added that she informed him that the viral photo that sparked the rumor was actually of her uncle and his children.
“First of all, I want to apologize for how the entire thing is misconstrued. I had a conversation with Chichi, and she told me that man is her uncle. She went to visit, and he took that picture.
”I asked why she didn’t tell her uncle to put out a disclaimer, and she said it will put them in a difficult situation because it was already difficult for them and her family members.
”I know for a fact that no one went out there to confirm anything. I was literally laughing at the impossibility of the entire situation. I was laughing because none of it was a fact,” he said.
