Vee Iye, a popular former BBNaija housemate, had a plumber arrested for exaggerating the cost of his service and duping her out of N130K.
The reality actress used to Twitter to vent her frustration after discovering that the plumber had pulled a quick one on her.
He allegedly charged her N150K for plumbing repair that cost only N20K, prompting her to threaten to have him imprisoned.
In a recent development, Vee Iye verified the technician’s detention while claiming that he played a game and received jail time as the prize.
“PLAY STUPID GAMES, WIN STUPID PRIZES. And for all of you that were making excuses for this plumber, THIS is your future.
When I realised what he was doing, I told him to come to my house this morning, can you believe he turned off my water again but THIS time, he used a screwdriver to lock my water completely. HE WILL SLEEP IN JAIL.” she wrote.
The arrest has elicited conflicting reactions, with some applauding her for taking up the fight and others condemning her attack as unwarranted.
