Tochi sides with Phyna following her unsympathetic comment against deceased Austa

Tochi Okechukwu, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has sided with his colleague Josephina Ijeoma Otabor nicknamed Phyna following her harsh reaction to deceased influencer Augusta simply known as Austa.

Remember that after word of Augusta’s death by her boyfriend, Benjamin Best nicknamed Killa Boi, spread on Monday, Phyna took to Snapchat to react.

The BBNaija Level-Up winner indirectly mocked the deceased Austa for battling her partner, which resulted in her death. Phyna also counseled her female colleagues to learn how to say no to harmful relationships.

According to Phyna; “So them dy kill each other for this relationship thing? God abeg ooo.

“An shine ya eye… My gender shine your eye oh, shine it, nor be to dy slay and speak big big grammar, are you smart? Are you intelligent, I don drop my 2cent…..rip to the dead.”

Shortly after her post, people took to social media to condemn Phyna for making such an inconsiderate statement about another woman.

Tochi, Phyna’s BBNaija colleague, does not agree with those criticizing Phyna for her statement. He made it obvious on his Twitter page that he despises how Phyna has always been a target on social media.

He urged people to reduce the frequency with which they criticize Phyna whenever she expressed an opinion on a topic.

Tochi’s tweets stated:

“You can correct someone politely without insulting them, some of you need to start watching how you insult people here! If no one ever cared or showed you love we must not suffer it, go and buy a teddy bear.

“I open twitter every time and I see people abusing this chick @unusualphyna you guys really have to take a break it’s getting too much! Especially from her fellow women it’s so disheartening…

Meanwhile, Phyna has returned to her Twitter page to apologize for her insensitive comment. She pleaded that people should always consider that she’s human and capable of making mistakes.
