When they initially got into the Big Brother house, Mercy and Pere did not have a strong bond; that was something they really started to establish later in the season.
Fans and other housemates were surprised by their growing chemistry in the later half of the show.
When Pere was in the BBNaija home, he had shown interest in Alex, noting that she was the only girl he felt he could touch.
But Mercy had already stated that she was in a committed relationship and had no interest in dating anybody else. However, as the season drew to an end, the two housemates became closer and even shared a kiss on tv.
Mercy and Pere had unfollowed each other on social media as recently as three days ago, despite what Pere revealed in a recent interview.
Supporters are worried about the sudden shift in their friendship because it’s still unclear why they decided to stop following one another.
This interview seems to have been recorded at least a few weeks ago, even though it was just released. This suggests that the interview may have happened before Mercy and Pere went on their unfollowing rampage.
