Chef Dammy announces new 150-hour cook-a-thon to dethrone Hilda Baci

Damilola Adeparusi aka Chef Dammy , a popular Nigerian chef, has announced a new 150-hour cook-a-thon in an attempt to dethrone Hilda Baci.

Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, a 22-year-old chef, has disclosed her desire to go on a 150-hour cooking frenzy, according to the Nigerian Tribune.

Chef Dammy reiterated her choice to break a Guinness World Record (GWR) in an interview with reporters in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti, on Friday.

While recognizing the support of stakeholders both within and outside of Ekiti state, the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) 300-level Mass communication student stated that she is determined to shatter the global record with the 150-hour cooking marathon she plans to undertake soon.

This comes after she denied attempting a Guinness World Record.

The Ekiti Chef explained on her official Facebook page that her purpose with the 120-hour cook-a-thon was to test her abilities rather than to break any records.

She expressed her gratitude for continuing and not giving up in the face of criticism.

“As I previously stated, I embarked on this journey to test my capabilities, not for any GWR. I am pleased that I cooked for 120 hours.” “I am proud of myself for never giving up,” she remarked.
