On Friday, a barber named Otubong died after an alleged marathon sex with his female partner in Port Harcourt’s Mile 2 district, Rivers State.
According to reports, the man was observed escorting the lady into his room in the densely crowded region on Thursday evening.
It was also discovered that the middle-aged male had used sex enhancement pills, as well as alcoholic drinks.
On Friday morning, though, one of his neighbors went to check on him and discovered his door unlocked.
“It was early this morning (Friday) when one of his neighbors went to his house to collect something and noticed that the door was open,” the neighbor explained.
“He said after knocking and calling his name without a response that he decided to go and see the man.
“So he shouted and immediately rushed out and I informed other residents of what he saw. People now came, took him, and went to report the matter to the police.”
Meanwhile, two black bullet drinks, two packets of tramadol, and another sex-enhancing substance were located in his room, according to a police source.
Residents from surrounding areas flocked to the scene to confirm what they had heard before the event was reported to the Azikiwe Police in Port Harcourt.
Grace Iringe-Koko, the Rivers Police Command Spokesperson, could not be reached for comment since her phone rang without an answer.
Iringe-Koko, a superintendent of police, had neither returned the call nor replied to a text message sent to her as of the time of filing this report.
